Dr. Swaminathan – VLSI & Embedded Systems Expert
Dr. Swaminathan (M.E., Ph.D., iFellow 2015) is a seasoned expert in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and FPGA Development. He co-founded Silicic Innova Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Silicon Craft VLSI Training-Research Institute, focusing on innovation in AI hardware acceleration and Network-on-Chip (NoC) fabric.With an engineering background from Bharathiar University and a Master’s in VLSI Design from GCE Coimbatore, he pursued a Ph.D. at NIT Trichy, specializing in NoC-based interconnect systems. His career spans pivotal roles at Sasken Communication, Campton Co. (South Korea), Jiva Sciences, and Smart IOPS, contributing to FPGA, ASIC verification, and high-speed storage solutions.An iFellow 2015, he gained global research exposure at AIIMS, IIT Delhi, QUT (Australia), and Stanford (US). His research spans IoT, wearable tech, SoC, image processing, and AI accelerators, with multiple patents and publications.Currently, as CEO of Silicic Innova Technologies, he leads R&D in Neuromorphic Computing and AI hardware acceleration, while also mentoring young engineers through Silicon Craft VLSI Training-Research Institute in Chennai.
